  • 方法一:由2-甲基-2-戊烯醛经催化氢化得到2-甲基戊醛，然后与甲醛进行羟甲基化、还原反应而制得该品。2-甲基-2-戊烯醛加氢反应100℃、1.3-1.5MPa下进行，收率80%。得到2-甲基戊醛后，将其加入36%的甲醛中，于室温下滴加氢氧化钠溶液。反应放热，自然升温至70℃，再加热至90℃，加流1h，冷却至60℃静置分层，上层液用水洗涤，洗液与下层液合并，用苯提取。将提取液和上层液合并，蒸馏回收苯后，进行减压蒸馏，收集160℃（14.7kPa）馏分，即为2-甲基-2-丙基-1,3-丙二醇，收率93%。
